Who I am as a Person
Hello, I’m Abbie, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a mother, a wife, an entrepreneur, an animal lover, and someone who’s always looking for the next artsy project to dive into. Creativity brings me joy, whether it's through crafting or exploring something new. As an introvert, I thrive in quiet, reflective spaces and bring that sense of calm and presence into everything I do. I value authenticity and connection, which is why honesty is at the heart of all my relationships, both personal and professional.
My Journey To Trauma & Dissociation Therapist
How I Got to Where I am
My journey into trauma and dissociation work began in residential treatment centers, where I worked closely with adolescents facing significant emotional and behavioral challenges. Those years taught me so much about resilience, healing, and the deep impact of childhood trauma. Eventually, I transitioned to working with adults in a non-profit outpatient setting, where I discovered a new passion. I love the dedication and commitment adults bring to therapy. They’re ready for change, eager to do the hard work, and tired of feeling stuck. This level of commitment and the transformations I’ve witnessed make my work so rewarding.
